Alfred (Al) Jones is the founder and sole owner of Jones Financial Consulting, LLC.  For over 25 years, Al has enthusiastically counseled, educated, and advised clients regarding financial issues including retirement planning, investments, and estate planning.  He formed Jones Financial Consulting in 2007 because he recognized that individuals are searching for independent, objective, and unbiased advice. He believes that a client making informed confident decisions is the key to the client’s long term financial success.

Al is a fiduciary for his clients. This means his advice and guidance is strictly in the client’s best interest. Typically Al provides comprehensive financial planning because it is important to coordinate many aspects of a client’s financial life. Al does not sell investment or insurance products. He is compensated by his clients strictly for the advice and assistance he provides.

Al and his wife are transplanted Iowans who love living in northern Wisconsin.  They moved to Eau Claire from Green Bay in 1992 when Al was chosen to manage the trust and investment division of a local bank.  Al is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Iowa.  He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from UW-Eau Claire and has lectured in the College of Business.

He is a Registered Financial Advisor with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).  Al has been a volunteer Big Brother and a Literacy Volunteer tutor.  He currently serves on the board of the Chippewa Valley Museum.
