What is "Fee Only Financial Planning," and why is it important?
Jackie Kleiman, CFP, is the principal of KB Financial Advisory. Jackie started her career in financial planning in 1994 with John Hancock Financial Services. She enjoyed the client interaction, but was bothered by the conflict of interest inherent in commission planning. In 1995 she discovered fee-only planning and has since become an ardent advocate of the fee-only process.
Jackie is a Certified Financial Planner, Registered Investment Advisor and is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning. Jackie is a graduate of the Cambridge Advantage training program and has obtained the Series 7, 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses, as well as an insurance license. Jackie is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and is a licensed Cambridge Advisor.
Jackie Kleinman earned her AS at the University of Cincinnati, in 1975, her BS at the University of San Francisco, in 1990. She became a Registered Investment Advisor Representative in 1999 and was granted the Certified Financial Planner™ in 2001.
Prior to KB Financial Advisory, she worked for John Hancock Financial Services, John Hancock Distributors and Signator Investors, Inc. John Hancock Distributors and Signator Investors, Inc. are wholly owned subsidiaries of John Hancock Financial Services.
