Jennifer Faherty is a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor.
NAPFA is the country's leading association of Fee Only Financial Planners.
What is "Fee Only Financial Planning," and why is it important?
Jennifer Faherty is the founder of Financial Wealth-being, providing clients with both the education and practical tools to be able to make smart money choices that are right for them.
The mission of the firm is to provide financial guidance in a way that is accessible, affordable and holistic, with an emphasis on Budgeting, Financial Literacy, Financial Wellness and creating the right mindset and behaviors to accomplish clients’ financial goals. Jennifer specializes in working with aspiring entrepreneurs, young professionals, and independent women. Jennifer has a practical, frugal mindset but is also someone who deeply understands that clients often have big dreams they want to accomplish in life for themselves and their families. Toward that end, her motto is helping clients “live a life of their dreams” while still “living within their means” and works closely with clients to understand financial trade-offs and opportunities during their early stages of planning.
In addition to holding the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNING designation, Jennifer is a Certified Coach and earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College and M.A. from Columbia University. Prior to launching her own fee-only firm, she worked directly with clients for nearly ten years as an advisor and as a coach, helping them to create sustainable financial plans and develop a success mindset around money and earning.
Outside of work, Jennifer loves reading, traveling with her family (current wish list: Cambodia and Spain), and going on walks with her dog. As a former teacher, with a strong commitment to not just financial education, but education in general, Jennifer also spends time as a volunteer for the non-profit organization Facing History and Ourselves, whose mission is to empower young people to confront bigotry and discrimination both inside and outside the classroom.
