Lesley Kilcullin is a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional.

Lesley Kilcullin, MBA, CFP® is owner of Kilcullin Financial Life Planning, LLC, an independent, Fee-Only financial planning and investment advising firm serving clients in the St. Louis and St. Charles areas.  Since Lesley is a fee-only advisor, she can provide non-biased recommendations and advice on an hourly, as-needed basis to individuals and families.

She is committed to providing objective, affordable advice to people from all walks of life and income levels.  There are no minimum asset sizes or income levels.  Whether you are just starting your working career or are considering retirement, Lesley is experienced and willing to help you through the tough financial decisions that lie ahead.  In working together, you will define your financial goals and create a path to achieve these goals.

Through her experience as a financial advisor, Lesley has seen individuals become overwhelmed with managing their own financial affairs and answering those difficult questions.
How much should I be saving and when can I retire?  Providing financial advice on an hourly basis, offers an opportunity to individuals who would likely not seek the advice of a financial professional.

Services are offered on an hourly or ongoing retainer basis, whichever is more appropriate for you.  An estimate of fees is given to you before committing to any service.  The first step is to schedule a Get Acquainted meeting to determine if we are a good fit for you.  There is no charge for this initial session.
Kilcullin Financial Life Planning, LLC offers advice on various topics such as:

  • Retirement planning
  • Investment review and recommendations
  • Retirement plan rollovers
  • Pension option analysis
  • Investment account consolidation
  • College savings
  • Cash flow and debt planning

Lesley has been working in the financial services industry for several years and has always been committed to providing fee-only financial advice.  She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.  She is also a member of NAPFA (National Association of Personal Financial Advisors), an organization of fee-only financial advisors, and she is the leader of the St. Louis NAPFA Study Group.

A financial plan built holistically includes much more than investment advice.  It is an all-purpose tool that enables planner and client, working together, to make better financial decisions because each individual decision is made within the context of the full picture.  Competent and informed investment decisions must take into account all the other factors that comprise an investor’s financial profile, including tax, estate planning, insurance, risk tolerance, specific family circumstances and ultimate financial goals.

For those individuals saving to meet their personal financial goals, whether college savings, a new home, or future retirement, we will work together to create a financial plan to achieve those financial goals.  We focus on low-cost portfolios to maximize the investment returns.

For retired individuals, we address proper allocation of investments to reduce risks inherent in investing to levels that the investor can tolerate and feel comfortable throughout retirement.  We will help an individual understand their risk tolerance and determine the proper asset allocation mix.

Often for retirees, their biggest concern is how to maintain the cash inflows in order to meet their daily living expenses.  We will create a solution to balance your cash flow needs and determine the most tax-efficient strategy to withdraw your assets.

We will work with individual’s tax accountants and attorneys, upon approval, to incorporate all aspects of your financial plan.
