Sterling Raskie is a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor.
NAPFA is the country's leading association of Fee Only Financial Planners.
What is "Fee Only Financial Planning," and why is it important?

Sterling Raskie brings over 9 years’ experience in financial planning, investment and insurance. Sterling shares Jim’s beliefs and philosophies regarding how clients should be treated and how their money needs to work for them to meet their goals. Sterling believes that the client experience should be client focused and client driven, not product driven.

Prior to joining Blankenship Financial, Sterling worked for a major financial services firm and also ran his own company in WI where he is originally from. When not wearing his financial planning hat, Sterling also teaches financial planning and insurance education for The American College – the leader in financial services education. He also teaches CFP® exam review classes across the country. Sterling is a very strong proponent of education – not only for industry professionals, but also for his clients. He enjoys educating his clients so their plan is easy to understand, not enveloped in a shroud of mystery.

Sterling holds a Master’s degree in financial services, and  is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant™, and a Chartered Life Underwriter™. He’s also proud to be a fee-only financial planner and investment advisor.

In addition to writing for BFP’s blog Getting Your Financial Ducks In a Row and Twitter, Sterling’s writing and articles can be found on AdviceIQ, Business Insider, and Wealth Channel Magazine, among others.

In his (limited) spare time, Sterling enjoys spending time with his family, fly-fishing, gardening, beekeeping and drumming.
