Susan Slowinski is a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor.
NAPFA is the country's leading association of Fee Only Financial Planners.
What is "Fee Only Financial Planning," and why is it important?
Susan Slowinski is the Director of Tax Planning and a Financial Planner at The Financial Consulate. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). She earned her Masters Endorsement in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University in addition to her undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from The University of Toledo.
After working as a CPA for 15 years in various industries including public accounting firms, Sue joined the Consulate to better integrate her tax acumen into the broader context of financial planning. A former teacher, she still enjoys educating in person and through writing, authoring a Small Business column with Examiner.com.
Sue is a past NAPFA Baltimore Study Group Leader, a current NAPFA Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Region Board Member and lives in Cockeysville, Maryland. Outside of taxes and financial planning, she enjoys quilting and volunteering with House of Ruth Maryland & Empty Bowls.
