Kathleen Hastings is a Member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors
The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) is a leading professional association of Fee-Only financial advisors - highly trained professionals who are committed to working in the best interests of those they serve.
NAPFA members live by three important values:
- To be the beacon for independent, objective financial advice for individuals and families.
- To be the champion of financial services delivered in the public interest.
- To be the standard bearer for the emerging profession of financial planning
We are an independent wealth management firm serving as trusted partner to affluent individuals, families, foundations and endowments.
Our highly personalized, consultative approach lets us better understand our clients’ financial goals, while our team of investment professionals and planning experts provides our clients with the sophisticated, objective advice they deserve.
Over more than two decades we have built the firm into an organization capable of serving our clients’ needs for generations to come. As a fiduciary, we are held to the highest industry standards of trust and confidence, and act with undivided loyalty to our clients. As an employee-owned firm, we offer independent thinking, free from the constraints of corporate interests. And as a fee-only advisor, we avoid the conflicts of interest inherent in brokerage and certain other financial advisory arrangements.
Each FBB client is served by a dedicated Portfolio Manager who becomes a core member of the client's financial team. What sets us apart is our flexibility in structuring portfolios and the level of attention we offer our clients. We do not force our clients into one-size-fits-all portfolios, but instead tailor each portfolio to the client's unique goals, risk preferences, time frame and tax situation. We also work extensively with our clients’ other advisors, such as tax professionals and estate-planning attorneys.
Through dedicated teamwork – as true financial partners – we aim to exceed the expectations of our valued clients.
