Paul Stagias is a New York, NY fee-only financial planner. Francis Financial, Inc. provides comprehensive  financial planning, wealth management, and divorce planning to help clients navigating a life transition organize, grow and protect their assets. As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Paul Stagias is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.

Paul Stagias’s role is to help clients with financial planning and portfolio strategy. More specifically, Paul meets with clients to understand their goals, and works with the rest of the team to create tailored investment portfolios and financial plans to help meet those goals. He thoroughly enjoys working with numbers and with people, which makes his work highly rewarding.

Professionally: Paul is a graduate of the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (finance major), cum laude.

Paul completed his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation from New York University’s School for Continuing and Professional Studies and also holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) designation. He is also a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) which he earned from the Yale School of Management. He is known for his diligence, reliability and great sense of humor and has developed an expertise in investment planning, tax planning, insurance planning and estate planning. Paul continues to seek opportunities to learn and grow as a financial advisor.

Personally: Paul loves to travel with his wife, and they both really enjoy playing tennis and cheering on the Yankees together.

He believes in giving back and volunteers for charitable causes such as The Arc, Habitat for Humanity, and the American Red Cross. He was also a mentor through Minds Matter NYC, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to transform the lives of accomplished high school students from low-income families by helping to broaden their dreams and prepare them for college success.

We are an independent, fee-only boutique wealth management, and divorce financial planning firm dedicated to providing ongoing comprehensive advice for women going through transitions, such as divorce, widowhood and sudden wealth. Our team is trained and knowledgeable about individual states' divorce laws and helps our clients answer questions regarding budgeting, alimony, tax planning, home sales, asset distribution, insurance and other factors that are crucial in determining their ideal settlement and attaining long-term financial security.
