Susan Veligor graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in English. She has worked in financial services since 1994. Prior to founding Cornerstone Financial Planning, LLC with Jill, Susan worked at Mackensen & Co., Financial Guidance Associates, & US Boston Capital Corp.
A Massachusetts native, Susan spent summers in Maine. The ocean, the people and the way of life in the state drew her back to establish a business in Portland, where she lives with her husband, Vincent, and Lola, the "Little River Duck Dog." They have two grown children. In her free time, Susan enjoys the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and activities at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church in Portland, where she is a member.
Susan has appeared on local television and radio programs, and has addressed both high school and college classes as well as offering financial planning seminars for women.
