Fee-Only & Fiduciary

The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) is the country's leading association of fee-only and fiduciary financial planners.

Aaron Hatch is a Redding, CA Fee-Only Financial Planner serving clients in Northern California including; Redding, Chico, Sacramento and the Bay Area. Woven Capital specializes in providing objective financial planning to help clients build, manage, grow, and protect their assets through life's transitions. Aaron Hatch is a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional.

Aaron Hatch is a CFP®, co-founder of Woven Capital, and founding member of the XY Planning Network. Like most of his clients, Aaron has three business cards: AARON HATCH “Certified Financial Planner”, “AirBnB Super Host” and “Community Advocate”.

Gen X & Gen Y increasingly live “three-business card” lives, building assets by weaving together multiple streams of income. Woven Capital helps clients make sense of the complexity, worry less about money, and free up time to spend on the things that are important in life.

Aaron enjoys seeing things take shape, whether in his garden or his community, where he serves on the boards for Catalyst Redding Young Professionals, the Shasta Library Foundation, and the Shasta Land Trust. He established TEDx: Redding in 2011 and continues to nurture the spreading of worthy ideas locally and globally. At the end of the day, he is a father, a husband, and the bedeviled master to two Golden Retrievers.

Aaron earned a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Olaf College after majoring in Biology with a concentration in Management Studies, and his Personal Financial Planning Certificate is from UC Berkeley. He has been a proud Certified Financial Planner since 2011. This means he completed a CFP-Board registered study program, demonstrated mastery of over 100 topics in financial planning, passed a 10-hour exam, and spent three years working full time in personal financial planning.

What is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™?

Most people think all financial planners are “certified,” but this is not true. Anyone can use the title “financial planner.” Only those who have fulfilled the certification and renewal requirements of CFP Board can display the CFP® certification trademarks that represent a high level of competency, ethics, and professionalism. Moreover, because they are held to a fiduciary standard of care, a CFP® professional is required to act in your best interest. Note: We are fee-only which means we receive no commissions. Just one of the ways we align our interests with yours.
