He has 18 years of financial experience and specializes in creating wealth management solutions for those who are preparing for or who have reached their retirement years. Bland helps clients develop sound retirement plans and guides them towards success.

Bland worked most recently as the Chief Financial Officer at Trust Company of the South where he managed the financial risk of the organization. He also developed and implemented the financial planning strategies for the Company’s clients. Prior to Trust Company of the South, Bland was Chief Financial Officer for The Delta Group, the country’s largest privately-held healthcare information services company. Prior to The Delta Group, he worked as a consultant at KPMG, a big four accounting firm. At KPMG, Bland helped his clients streamline their operations and develop more profitable business models. Bland is a CPA, Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and is accredited as a Personal Financial Specialist by the American Institute of CPAs. He attended Wake Forest University where he earned both a Bachelor of Science from The School of Business and Accountancy and a Master of Business Administration from the Babcock Graduate School of Management.

He lives in Greenville, SC with his wife and three daughters.

Goepper Burkhardt, LLC was established in January of 2003 to offer independent, fee-only portfolio management and financial counseling services. Prior to forming Goepper Burkhardt LLC, Dant and Bland were Officers with Trust Company of the South, a South Carolina Trust Bank. The Partnership creates a well-diversified team of experts able to provide a high level of service and expertise.
