Financial Management Experience
David joined Net Worth Advisory Group in July of 2005 and is currently a Managing Partner. During his tenure at Net Worth he has advised clients in retirement planning, investment analysis, investment strategy, investment portfolio management, business planning, life/health/disability/long-term care insurance, education and estate planning. David’s approach to financial planning and investment advising emphasizes after-tax portfolio returns and execution of a seamless strategy among the client’s professional advisors (i.e. financial advisor, accountant and attorney). Prior to joining Net Worth Advisory Group David worked as a registered representative and investment advisor representative for LPL Financial Services providing many of the same services he currently provides.
From 1994 to 2004 David worked for Duke Energy, one of the nation’s largest utilities and energy merchants, as Vice President, Energy Marketing and Trading, Western Region. While employed at Duke his primary focus was on structuring and managing energy portfolios consisting of physical and financial natural gas, crude oil, and electricity contracts. This invaluable experience allowed David to develop expertise in managing market, commodity, credit, currency and interest rate risk, which he finds very useful in managing his current client portfolios.
David is committed to providing independent and objective advice that is in the best interest of his clients. As a fee-only advisor, he acts in a fiduciary capacity and is in a unique position to provide truly objective financial advice.
David and his wife Stacy live in South Jordan Utah with their four children where they are actively involved in many facets of the community.
