Meet Betsy Cunagin
Betsy Cunagin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠. She is also a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Betsy holds a Bachelor of Arts in art history from Davidson College and she is a 2018 Leadership Asheville graduate. Prior to joining Parsec in 2016, Betsy managed high net worth family relationships at an independent multi-family office in New York. Her focus areas included estate planning and tax savings strategies, family governance and education of the younger generation. She relocated to Cape Town, South Africa, in 2013 where she worked to source partner non-profits in the local community. She began her career in wealth management in 1995 at a fee-only financial planning firm in Columbia, South Carolina. Betsy is a recent transplant to the Asheville area where she lives with her husband and three children.
