Resource Advisory Services, Inc.
Fee-Only financial planner located in Knoxville, TN, serving clients locally and across the country
I graduated in 2003 with a Finance Degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Shortly after graduation, I discovered Fee-Only Financial Planning and began working for Resource Advisory Services in 2004. I obtained the Certified Financial Planner™ designation in July 2006.
I am a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) as a NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor. I continue to work diligently to expand my financial planning knowledge and skills. Education is an integral part of Resource Advisory Services because it enhances our ability to serve clients and help them achieve the goals they value most.
Most of my free time is spent with my wife, Ashley and two young children – Jayden and Caylor. We live in Knoxville, Tennessee and enjoy participating in our children’s extracurricular activities – Football, Basketball, Soccer, and Gymnastics.

The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) is the country’s leading professional association of Fee-Only financial advisors - highly trained professionals who are committed to working in the best interests of those they serve.
NAPFA members live by three important values:
- To be the beacon for independent, objective financial advice for individuals and families.
- To be the champion of financial services delivered in the public interest.
- To be the standard bearer for the emerging profession of financial planning
This is an expression we use often, because it quickly reflects our understanding that financial health is more than managing an investment portfolio. Financial health is about building and enjoying wealth - which requires balance. The best investment returns reasonably available, even in the best of economic times, are not nearly as important as comprehensive management of financial resources.
In other words; managing income for optimum allocations among investment contributions, debt reduction and enjoyment of day-to-day lifestyle is important. In your future, dollars you contribute to investments will be a much larger portion of your total investments than returns. Reducing your liabilities should eventually eliminate debt payments, which are a drain of investment resources. Progress in these two aspects of your future net worth can guide appropriate expenditures for life’s amenities in the present. Building wealth does not have to be drudgery. Confidence from regularly measuring progress, while considering the events that affect it and ways to improve it, can enhance enjoyment of your wealth-building pursuit.
Our Methods are built around these principles. Visit www.ResourceAdv.com to learn more. In a few minutes you should begin to understand our Fee-Only culture. Use our website to decide whether you believe Resource Advisory Services can help with issues that led you to seek a financial advisor. We are in Knoxville, Tennessee. Meeting you and understanding your expectations is important for us in deciding how we can assist you by offering our services.
