Chip Addis is a Wayne, PA fee-only financial planner. Addis Hill, Inc. provides comprehensive and objective financial planning, estate planning, long-term care planning and retirement income planning to help clients organize, grow and protect their assets through life’s transitions. As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Chip Addis is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.
Chip Addis worked for Pennsylvania Financial Group, an agency of the former Provident Mutual organization from 1989 until 2000 when Addis Hill was conceived. While he learned the valuable lesson of solving for client needs, he also became uncomfortable with conflicts of interest. He knew there was a better way to do business and soon found NAPFA which proved to be invaluable in shaping the culture of the new firm.
At Addis Hill, Chip aims to consistently listen and use common sense to solve the puzzle that clients bring upon meeting for the first time. Chip loves working with the Addis Hill team because of their high level of integrity and the impact they make on clients’ lives. He also enjoys the authenticity of the company, the use of new technologies, and an overall growth mindset.
When he’s not in the office
Chip has been happily married to his wife Sue for 30 years. They share three children: Drew (24), Kyle (22), and Jenny (18). They have a home on the Chesapeake Bay where they enjoy spending time on the water. Chip loves Penn State football, home renovation, collecting art, landscaping, and maintaining his 1960’s rides. Chip is a small town boy at heart having grown up in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania and graduating from Penn State.

We provide both financial planning and investment management for a bundled fee tied to the amount of money we manage for you, subject to a minimum.
