Meet Eric Ousley

Eric Ousley knows that the work he does for clients today can make an impact for generations to come. He finds inspiration in the stories clients tell about their families and lives, aside from just their business or their finances.

After working on the broker-dealer side of the financial planning business, Eric sees himself as a resource for people who don’t know who to trust or where to go. As a wealth advisor, Eric specializes in providing comprehensive wealth management and investment planning solutions to ensure clients are on track to reach the goals most important to them. His duties include implementing and monitoring tax-efficient investment strategies, planning for education and retirement, estate planning and philanthropic giving. He has found that collaboration is a major part of putting together and then monitoring any financial plan.

Eric served as portfolio advisor with Indiana-based Hufford Advisors until that firm’s merger with Buckingham Strategic Wealth in 2014. Prior to joining Hufford, Eric worked for Charles Schwab & Co. and Mutual of America. His roles at both organizations involved working directly with clients to assess, review and implement investing and savings strategies.

Eric is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has earned several other accreditations through the College for Financial Planning, including the Accredited Asset Management Specialist and Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM designations.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Manchester University in 1999. Eric is a life-long Hoosier and an avid sports fan. He has two daughters.
