Ethan Kok is a fee-only financial advisor serving clients locally and across the country. Sage Wealth Planning provides comprehensive financial planning, including retirement planning, education planning, and life planning to help busy professionals, real estate investors, and business owners organize, grow and protect their assets through life’s transitions. As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Ethan Kok is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.

Ethan Kok was a client who saw first-hand the value that Sage Wealth Planning brings. Ethan took interest in the strategies that were deployed to help his own household, such as: restricted stock units strategy, using company benefits to build long term wealth, and strategies to lower his lifetime tax liability. When appropriate, he now seeks to help others use the above strategies and many more to achieve their financial goals.

Ethan started his career at Dow, Inc. in Midland, MI as part of their Supply Chain Rotational Program. Throughout the next five years, Ethan worked in various supply chain, product marketing, and sales roles. His experiences at Dow taught him many valuable skills, such as, client relationship management, continuously improving processes, and how to quantify large decisions.

Ethan is also an active real estate investor, and through this lens, he enjoys continuously learning and helping others think about the role real estate can play in long term wealth building process.

Ethan graduated from Michigan State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain Management.

Ethan and his wife, Robin, currently live in Round Rock, TX in the near future. When not serving clients, Ethan enjoys outdoor sports, all things real estate, and cooking.
