As a fee-only financial planner, my focus is to offer unbiased financial advice to help you achieve your life goals. - Grant Meyer, CFP®
No jargon here, just straightforward advice! I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and work with clients on a transparent, flat monthly fee basis. GTS Financial serves clients across the nation virtually and locally in the Twin Cities metro area.

Tired of searching online for solutions to your financial problems?
How about a transparent fee, so you actually know what you’re paying for?
If you have a question about money, we want to help. GTS Financial provides comprehensive financial planning to help clients organize, grow and protect their assets through life’s transitions.
Grant Meyer is never paid a commission of any kind as a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor. He has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.
Grant Meyer, CFP® is the founder and financial planner at GTS Financial.
In 2008, I began my career in the financial advising industry after realizing that you didn’t have to be a stuffy guy in a suit selling things to people. My epiphany was that financial planning was about building relationships and working with people in their lives in many different ways.
I enjoy discussing what you want to accomplish in your life, not just with money, but maybe your fitness or nutrition goals, relationship hopes, career aspirations, etc.
The greatest compliment you can give me is to allow me to bring positive energy into your life.
Grant Meyer is a Member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors

The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) is a leading professional association of Fee-Only financial advisors - highly trained professionals who are committed to working in the best interests of those they serve.
NAPFA members live by three important values:
- To be the beacon for independent, objective financial advice for individuals and families.
- To be the champion of financial services delivered in the public interest.
- To be the standard bearer for the emerging profession of financial planning.
Unlike many companies, we're not looking to work with just anyone.
We strive to build relationships with the people we do our best work with. Rather than having an account with some large company where you're one of many, wouldn't you like to find someone who gets you?
Here are some of the qualities we look for in our clients:
- Value more than just money management
- Want to do good for themselves and the world around them
- Expect open, collaborative communication
- Coaching centric partnership
- Want to delegate
- Value input
- Believe in the power of kindness
- Looking for well-being in all areas of life
Having the right mindset and value alignment is important to us. In addition, we do our best work with:
Widows & Widowers
When you are grieving, the last thing you want to face is the pressure of major financial decisions. Our advisors have special experience in working with widows and would like to help guide you through this difficult time.
Retirees
We aim to take the complexity out of retirement.
Some common questions we help with are: Do I have enough to retire? How much can we spend in retirement? What will healthcare costs be? When should we claim Social Security?
All of these decisions are important, and you may only get one chance to make the right choice.
Women
Often, women are afraid to ask for help when it comes to personal finances because they have traditionally taken a back seat in these matters.
Let our team empower you with financial knowledge.
We don’t just have conversations around investments, our goal is to take your unique challenges as a woman into consideration so that your financial literacy creates the confidence you need to take charge of your finances. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that challenges the “old school” approach to women and investing.
Young Professionals
Exciting changes are happening in your career and life. Understanding how to navigate your rising income and benefits, paying off college debt, getting married, or buying a home are important decisions that can impact your future.
We can help you capture opportunities and minimize threats to your growing nest egg.
