Grant Moore is a Rockford, IL fee-only financial planner. Savant Wealth Management provides comprehensive wealth management, investment management, and objective financial planning to help individuals, families, and businesses across the nation organize, grow and protect their assets through life’s transitions. As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Grant Moore is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.
Grant Moore focuses on helping those close to and in retirement develop tax-efficient cash flow and investment strategies. He has been involved in the financial services industry since 2006. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Grant worked in Savant’s financial planning department where he produced investment analyses, prepared client financial plans, and coordinated plan implementation. He also specialized in retirement projections.
Grant is a cum laude graduate of Marquette University with a bachelor of science degree in finance and economics with a minor in psychology. He earned a master of business administration degree from Marquette University and a master of science degree in personal financial planning from the College for Financial Planning.
Grant is an adjunct professor, teaching undergraduate financial planning and estate planning courses at Franklin University. In 2016 Grant was selected as one of the top 40 financial advisors under age 40 in the United States by InvestmentNews. He serves on the board of directors and as secretary for Rockford Symphony Orchestra. In 2013, he graduated from the Chamber of Commerce’s 58th Class of Leadership Rockford, a program designed to help emerging leaders grow in the Rockford community. Grant is routinely interviewed by local television stations and has been quoted in national publications including the Wall Street Journal, InvestmentNews, U.S. News & World Report, Bloomberg Businessweek, USA Today, and Consumer Reports. He is also a frequent featured guest on the Sirius XM Satellite Radio show, “Your Money,” hosted by the Wharton School of Business.
Grant and his wife Erin have two sons, Landon and Hudson. He enjoys traveling, playing golf, coaching his sons’ sports teams, and spending time with his family.

Grant Moore is a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist® (CRPS®)
Individuals who hold the CRPS® designation have completed a course of study encompassing design, installation, maintenance and administration of retirement plans. Additionally, individuals must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations.
All designees have agreed to adhere to Standards of Professional Conduct and are subject to a disciplinary process.
Designees renew their designation every two-years by completing 16 hours of continuing education, reaffirming adherence to the Standards of Professional Conduct and complying with self-disclosure requirements.

MPAS® designees have completed a Master of Science degree with a major in personal financial planning or financial analysis. The program consists of 36-43 semester credits and delves into personal financial planning or investment-related content. Graduates are required to demonstrate critical thinking skills and problem-solving techniques. Additionally, individuals must complete assignments, projects, research, and papers and meet all graduation requirements for the Master of Science degree.
