As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, James Reding is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.

Jim Reding has over twenty-five years of experience in investment management and comprehensive wealth planning.  Jim attended Rockhurst University on a soccer scholarship, and he graduated with honors (B.S.B.A. in Finance and Economics).  Jim received his Juris Doctorate Degree from St. Louis University School of Law and he graduated cum laude.  Jim worked at Monsanto in mergers & acquisitions prior to starting his own comprehensive wealth planning firm in 1996.  Jim is a member of the Missouri Bar, the National Association of Professional Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and he has earned the following professional certifications: Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and he is a member of the Missouri Bar Association.

Jim has been named as one of the best Financial Advisors in St. Louis and has written numerous articles and white papers on investment and financial planning, including an article called “Millionaires in the Making” which was published by Money Magazine and an article on 401(k) plan fees that was published by the St. Louis Business Journal.

We utilize a team approach in analyzing and planning a client’s investment portfolio, estate plan, cash flow, income tax planning, and retirement goals. All recommendations are based solely on your specific needs, circumstances and goals. We serve our clients in a fiduciary capacity and pledge to act in our clients’ best interest at all times. Assets are managed in a prudent, disciplined fashion with emphasis placed on risk management, low cost and consistent results.

We take great pride in the fact that nearly all of our clients come to us on a referral basis and our retention rate is very high (with the majority having been with us 10 years or more).
