Grand Life Financial
Financial Planner
I provide financial counsel to help reduce uncertainty and fear around money that facilitates more informed decisions beyond investing. As a fee-only financial planner, I am only paid by my clients; I do not sell products. The fee-only financial advisor model is typically considered the most transparent and least likely to create conflicts of interest between the client and the advisor, as sales-based incentives are removed. - John Foligno, CMC®
Fee-only, fiduciary financial planner and wealth manager serving clients nationwide.

John Foligno is a fee-only, fiduciary financial planner who helps business owners, professionals, and retirees organize, grow and protect their assets through life’s transitions. Grand Life Financial provides comprehensive financial planning, wealth management, and investing. There is no requirement to manage a client's investments. John offers several options (project, ongoing, hourly) as one size does not fit all. John is never paid a commission of any kind, has a legal obligation to act at all times for the sole benefit and interest of his clients, and answers only to his clients without being corrupted by affiliations with big banks or other financial institutions. This is the highest standard of loyalty and care under the law.
John Foligno has nearly 30 years of professional work and coaching/mentoring experience, which includes over 10 years of running his own business. Through empathy, active listening, and thoughtful counsel, he lives his personal mission by inspiring people to overcome the roadblocks that prevent them from accomplishing their goals and helps them to find enlightenment, fulfillment, and financial well-being.
He specializes in supporting business owners, professionals, and retirees, although he enjoys working with all manner of people. As a business owner, John learned the hard way how much he would have benefited from a financial steward who understands the myriad challenges of running a business. That experience, coupled with his passion for financial planning, enables him to relieve business owners of the day-to-day concerns of reaching their financial goals, which frees them to focus on their growth and ultimate exit strategy.
As a graduate of Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management, John studied finance and marketing. He completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board-approved educational coursework through Bryant University and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) educational coursework through the American Retirement Association / National Association of Plan Advisors that will allow him to deliver professional, competent and ethical financial planning and retirement planning services to clients and plan sponsors. He holds a Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law registration that authorizes him to solely offer fee-only advice. As a Certified Money Coach (CMC)®, John also helps clients identify their unconscious behaviors, patterns, and beliefs around money to guide them toward reaching their financial potential.
When he is not fulfilling his fiduciary obligation of putting his client’s interest first, John is sharing time with his wife, Michelle, and his daughter, Ruby. He enjoys a healthy lifestyle of strength training, spinning, and yoga as well as watching sports and reading. John is a first-degree black belt in Goju karate that guides his disciplined approach. He volunteers his time for the honor of helping people with limited financial education to make more informed decisions.

Grand Life Financial provides fee-only financial planning, wealth management and investing for business owners, professionals and retirees in Stuart, Florida.
While many fee-only financial advisors are registered investment advisors and fiduciaries, it is possible for a firm to be one and not the other.
At Grand Life Financial, we are both fee-only and fiduciaries. As a fiduciary, we are legally bound to act at all times for the sole benefit and interest of our clients. This is the highest standard of loyalty, trust and care under the law.
WE ARE INDEPENDENT
We answer only to our clients. We offer our clients a relationship uncorrupted by affiliations with big banks or other financial institutions.
HOW WE ARE COMPENSATED
We are compensated by providing advice only. As fiduciaries, we do not receive any commissions and there are no hidden fees. We believe advisor compensation should be transparent and straightforward.
