Farnam Financial is an independent investment advisory firm that serves clients in retirement or nearing it. We provide portfolio management, financial planning, tax planning, and other wealth management services. Our goal is to your financial house into a financial castle by helping provide three primary benefits: more money for you and your family, lowering your tax bill, and peace of mind through any market. We are proud to serve as a fee-only fiduciary and never charge commissions or sell products. We work with clients in-person, virtually, and by phone.
Jonathan Bird is a Phoenix, AZ fee-only financial planner. Farnam Financial provides comprehensive and objective financial planning to help clients organize, grow and protect their assets through life’s transitions. As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Jonathan Bird is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.
Jonathan Bird was born in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from Creighton University. He previously worked for Charles Schwab & Co. and managed over $250 million in client assets for 205 high-net-worth families. With eight years of financial services experience, he holds both the Certified Financial Planner™ and Certified Wealth Strategist™ professional designations. He is the author of the Amazon #1 Best-selling book, Income on Demand - Master Your Retirement Portfolio, Ignore the Market, and Leave the IRS Weeping.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys running a Junto group inspired by Benjamin Franklin’s autobiography. He also enjoys reading, golf, and pickleball.
