Helping clients navigate their financial future is a responsibility we take seriously. And it’s an opportunity we cherish deeply.

As a fee-only firm and legal fiduciary, we are solely devoted to our clients’ success. That means our clients will always get objective, unbiased, and evidence-based financial advice centered around their best interests.

Elwood & Goetz specializes in personalized and comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, investment management, and tax planning to help clients organize, grow, and protect their assets through life’s transitions. We do all the heavy lifting and day-to-day optimizations to manage your financial life — so you don’t have to.

We are grateful to now serve more than 450 families across 35 states, and we’re proud to have an annual client retention rate above 99%.

Lindsay Elwood oversees all operations of the firm, and especially enjoys creating new firm efficiencies utilizing technology advancements. She has extensive experience and expertise in tax-efficient investment/portfolio management as well as in financial planning strategies relating to business owners, women, and university faculty/administrators.

Considering only 23% of Certified Financial Planner™ professionals are women, Lindsay is passionate about mentoring + encouraging young women entering the male-dominated industry, and is extremely proud of the diversified make-up of the E&G team.

Lindsay graduated with Honors from Texas Tech University, completing a degree in Personal Financial Planning (summa cum laude). Lindsay grew up in Wyoming, studied in Texas, lived abroad in Spain, and worked in Miami before settling in Athens, Georgia + founding Elwood & Goetz.
