Meet Man-Hyung Hahn

Man-Hyung Hahn is a Financial Planner with RTD Financial. Prior to joining RTD in 2013, Man-Hyung spent several years in public accounting as an auditor with Grant Thornton and as a senior accountant with Citco Fund Services. His desire to help everyday individuals and families is what motivated him to embark on a career in financial planning. He is passionate about listening to clients and providing comprehensive advice that is aligned with their specific values and life goals, with taxes in mind.

Man-Hyung is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Pennsylvania and is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He is also an Enrolled Agent (EA), authorized to represent taxpayers and practice before the IRS. Man-Hyung spent the 2018 tax season with TurboTax to educate taxpayers on the new tax law changes from the 2018 Tax Reform and to provide tax advice and guidance to taxpayers. He is focused on helping clients plan ahead with tax considerations in mind and on identifying tax savings opportunities.

A member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Man-Hyung serves on RTD’s Personal Wealth Management Committee and leads the firm’s Tax Planning Committee. Man-Hyung graduated from Temple University, summa cum laude, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Drexel University. He is also a graduate of the 2017 Financial Planning Association Residency program.

Man-Hyung lives in Marlton, NJ with his wife, Jihyun and son, Mason. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He is particularly passionate about personal finance, taxes, traveling, and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.
