Fee-Only financial planner located in St. Louis, MO, serving corporate executives and medical professionals locally and across the country

Mark Schweiss is a St. Louis, MO fee-only financial advisor serving corporate executives and medical professionals.

As life gets complex, having a second set of eyes to ensure you're making all the right financial moves can be invaluable.  We help executives, medical professionals and business owners grow and protect wealth through one-on-one financial planning and investment management.

Whether you want to set yourself up to retire early, leave the corporate world to start a business, send your kids to college or something in between, we can help you find the right financial trajectory to make it happen.

As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Mark Schweiss is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.

Mark Schweiss has been with Modern Dollar since 2017. Mark began his professional career working for a regional CPA Firm where he was an auditor and tax preparer. After working as a CPA for ten years, Mark decided he wanted to be a financial planner so he took and passed the CFP exam and embarked on his financial advisory career.

Throughout his 20+ year financial planning career, Mark has assisted clients of all ages and income levels with their financial needs and has guided them through all kinds of markets. In 2017, Mark was introduced to Andrew and they found that they had a similar vision for the type of financial planning firm they wanted to build so they decided to join forces as partners at Modern Dollar Planning.

He was born and raised in Minnesota, but since coming to St. Louis in 2007, has become a huge Cardinals fan (he got married on homeplate at Busch Stadium!) and he still plays in a competitive baseball league. He and his wife, Lisa, live in the Central West End, they love to bike and travel and they have two grown children and two wonderful grandchildren.

Mark is a consummate learner, pays very close attention to detail and loves to assist our clients with setting and achieving their financial goals through our financial planning process.
