Who We Serve
Professional Couples who are saving for retirement and want the assurance they are financially on track. They want professional unbiased advice and specific action plans involving taxes, investment management, retirement planning and education savings. Often their goal is to reach “financial independence” where they can confidently choose options such as scaling back work life, beginning a new business, retirement, philanthropic opportunities, or other interests.
Clients Nearing or in Retirement who have worked and saved for years and have important decisions to make: How many more years, if any, do they want or need to work? What are their plans for the next stage of life? What matters most and at what level can they live without worrying about running out of money? They want clear fiduciary direction and financial advice on investing their hard earned assets to protect and grow their wealth.
Business Owners who want guidance on business deductions, tax savings opportunities and how their business affects their personal cash flow. They are looking for comprehensive financial advice regarding personal financial planning, business planning and retirement plan options.
Women, Including Widows who are looking for unbiased financial advice on how to preserve investments and move towards secure retirement. They want trusted advice on taxes, investments and how much to save and spend today and in the future. They may want real estate or other assets evaluated to determine their impact on their financial future. They may be launching a second career and want advice on how long to work before retirement.
Those wanting a one meeting review of their financial situation can take advantage of our AFP Financial TuneUp. This meeting provides detailed analysis of common subjects of financial planning. Often these are younger clients who leave the meeting with clear goals and action items.
Comprehensive Fiduciary Financial Planning
Our clients are looking for solid, unbiased financial advice and a plan that makes sense. They want peace of mind and a trusted fiduciary advisor to help implement steps towards financial health. This is what you can expect fromThree Points Financial: “Financial Planning for Life.”
Investment Management
Investment decisions can be counter productive if not in sync with a long term plan. Making good investment decisions includes taking into account your age, short and long term goals, net worth, tax bracket, cash flow needs, the risk and structure of investments, tax advantages and disadvantages, the cost of investments and many other factors. Building a solid portfolio that benefits from market upswings, weathers downswings and provides needed liquidity and growth is individually specific.
Addressing these complexities from a Fee-Only (Fiduciary) perspective puts us in the best position to give recommendations that put our clients’ interests first. Learn More
Tax Planning
While you must pay legally owed taxes, there are smart tax strategies that can help you avoid the mistake of overpaying taxes. The IRS estimates that more than one billion dollars is overpaid in taxes each year. With tax laws changing every year, wouldn’t you rather see those funds in your bank account or put aside for other financial goals?
