Since starting Financial Service Group more than 35 years ago, Michael Haubrich has been known for creatively blending traditional financial planning with visionary thinking and tools to meet the work and life realities of clients in the metropolitan Milwaukee area including Racine, Burlington, Kenosha, Oak Creek and surrounding communities. Michael is a relationship focused industry innovator who is committed to helping his clients live their great life however they define it.

Mike has served in the financial planning industry since 1979.  The founder and president of Financial Service Group, Mike is an Investment Advisor Representative with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner since 1986. He also holds the Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)™ credential focused on serving the life and financial needs of elders. Mike graduated with honors from UW-Parkside and the College for Financial Planning.  

In 2006, Michael introduced Career Asset Management™(CAM), described as "game changing" by industry experts, to the financial planning and career counseling professions. As a thought leader on this topic, he is often called upon to present at industry and other professional conferences. In 2014, Mike authored the book, Career Asset Management: Getting Ahead, Staying Ahead and Using your Head to Maximize your Career Value.  As a part of Financial Service Group's service offerings, Mike also leads the the financial and care planning needs for late-life stage clients and their families.

Michael's points of views have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Forbes, Yahoo Hot Jobs and major industry trades. He also contributes to the  "To Your Wealth" column published monthly in the Racine Journal Times and is a frequent guest on industry and topic-centric podcasts.

Michael is past-president of the Greater Milwaukee chapter of International Association for Financial Planning, currently the Financial Planning Association. He is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and past-president of the Racine-Kenosha Estate Planning Council. Active in the community, Michael is the past- president of the UW-Parkside Foundation Board and past-president of the Board for Lakeside Curative Services in Racine.
