The goal of all professionals at Pathway Financial Advisors is to illuminate clients' paths and provide support for the discovery and pursuit of fulfilling lives. While our offices are located in South Burlington, VT, and Atlanta, GA, we serve clients all over the country.

Michael Schell is a South Burlington, VT fee-only financial planner. Pathway Financial Advisors, LLC provides comprehensive financial planning including estate planning and tax planning, as well as investment management, and retirement planning to help both business owners and high net worth clients organize, grow and protect their assets through life’s transitions. As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Michael Schell is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.

Michael Schell is passionate about helping individuals and families accomplish their goals while staying true to their values.

Mike’s journey in financial planning began with an internship with a local fee-only financial planning practice while he was pursuing his undergraduate degree. He then spent several years as a Paraplanner and established his own fee-only financial planning practice before joining Pathway Financial Advisors in February 2022.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College and holds a certificate in Financial Planning from Bryant University. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner.

Mike lives in Colchester with his wife, Emily, and their two cats, Nigel and Wally. Away from his desk, Mike enjoys playing guitar, skiing, and spending time with his family and close friends
