Meet Richard Durso
Richard Durso is a shareholder at RTD Financial, serving as Chief Financial Officer and a Senior Financial Planner. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rich graduated from LaSalle College High School and St. Joseph’s University. With more than 18 years of professional experience in financial planning and investment management, Rich ensures that family wealth and values are passed down to future generations through proper planning. His passion is to design and implement a goal-focused life plan for his clients.
Rich has been a speaker at several events such as the national Financial Planning Association (FPA) Retreat and the Private Wealth Forum. He is a contributor for the Journal of Financial Planning and has been quoted by many financial publications including The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s, Financial Planning Magazine, and MSN Money. Awarded the FPA’s Presidential Award for outstanding leadership, Rich is past President and Chair of the Philadelphia Chapter of the FPA. He is also an adjunct professor at Temple University where he teaches financial planning to undergraduate students.
As a current board member for the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Cancer Society he leads the Real Men Wear Pink (RMWP) initiative. This is the third year that Rich has organized the Philadelphia RMWP Charity Golf Outing. He’s personally raised about $50,000 for the charity via the RMWP initiative, all of which goes directly to the American Cancer Society.
