As a fee-only, fiduciary, and independent financial advisor, Yvonne Scoggins is never paid a commission of any kind, and has a legal obligation to provide unbiased and trustworthy financial advice.
As a financial advisor for many years with one of the largest financial services firms in the county, Yvonne Scoggins has seen it all. In the beginning of her career, she worked with active traders, specializing in options trading and later began working as a Financial Advisor, focusing on helping clients with financial planning and investing for the long-term. She has seen incredible bull markets like the rise in technology stocks and painful down markets like the great recession in 2007 - 2008. Understanding what is important about money to her clients and helping them reach their objectives gives her great satisfaction. She knows how difficult it is to maintain discipline in both up and down markets and works closely with her clients to survive the ups and downs.
She knows that not everyone enjoys the details of investing as much as she does so when she communicates with clients she takes her time to make sure she answers their questions in a practical and easy to understand way.
As a mom of three daughters (one of whom is in college), who has cared for her aging grandparents and now her own parents, she understands the importance of proper planning.
Yvonne is originally from Maryland but being a Navy brat she has also grown up on the west coast. She currently lives in Crownsville, MD with her husband and daughters.

Lastly, not only will we prepare your tax return, we will look for opportunities to minimize your tax burden and integrate your tax planning with your overall financial plan.

All designees have agreed to adhere to Standards of Professional Conduct and are subject to a disciplinary process.
